London → Los Angeles - £650 return with Virgin Atlantic. 30 May - 6 Jun (weekend departure and return). Direct (11h 15m). Usually £491-£939, save 9%. A weekend departure flying near the Bank Holiday - ideal if you want to maximise annual leave.

🗽 London to New York (JFK) - Economy

London → New York - £663 return with JetBlue. 29 May - 5 Jun. Direct (8h 6m). Usually £604-£1,072, save 21%. Near the Spring Bank Holiday - JetBlue's transatlantic product is well regarded and this is a solid price for the timing. Just 19p/mile.

London → New York - £613 return with American Airlines. 29 Jun - 6 Jul. Direct (7h 50m). Usually £613-£787, at the low end of typical for early July. 18p/mile.

London → New York - £738 return with British Airways. 29 May - 5 Jun. Direct (7h 50m). Usually £604-£1,072, save 12%. BA's Club World comfort starts in Economy class and this is a reasonable Bank Holiday weekend price. 21p/mile.

💡 London Airport Tip - Transatlantic Routes

For Los Angeles and New York, your best departure airports this week are Heathrow (LHR) and Gatwick (LGW) - all the deals above are from London area airports operating nonstop transatlantic services. British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, United, American, and JetBlue all operate direct to both LAX and JFK from Heathrow. If you are travelling from South or Central London, Gatwick is worth checking for Virgin Atlantic to both destinations. The Gatwick Express to London Bridge takes around 30 minutes.
